A former Kaduna State Police public Relations Officer, SP Jalige Muhammed has been transferred to Bauchi State as the new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Zone 12, covering Gombe and Bauchi states.

SP Jalige until his posting, was the Officer in charge of the KRPC/ NNPC Police Outpost under Sabo Tasha Division, after a long stint as Kaduna Command PPRO.

Addressing the Kapam Community Development Association executive and the Mai Ungwas in his office on Monday, Mr Jalige expressed gratitude for the cooperation and sense of belonging the entire community accorded him.

Furthermore, he thanked the Sir Gbagyi representative, Dan Masanin Kapam whom he described as very instrumental in fostering peace amongst the youth and the intended protest by the youth in regards to the devastating effect of the chemicals that destroyed their crops almost a year ago.

He appreciated all stakeholders, and the Magagin Kapam for all their efforts in maintaining peaceful coexistence while negotiations of the expected negotiations last.

Responding to the question asked by Mai Angwa Samson on the fate of the compensation, Mr Jalige promised seeing HRH, Sir Gbagyi the Etsu Chikun to get final decision on the matter and feedback Kapam stakeholders before his final departure.

Consequently, he assured all the stakeholders of the community that he was going to brief his successor and hopefully the case of Kapam and the expected compensation will be a thing of the past.
