The National Youth Alliance (NYA), has with immediate effect, suspended some key officials of the movement, ahead of the 2027 polls, for allegedly joining the ADC Coalition.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Youth President/National Chairman NYA, Amb Aliyu Bin Abbas, made available on Wednesday.

“The National Working Committee (NWC) of the National Youth Alliance (NYA) has taken decisive action to uphold the integrity and unity of our Movement/Political Party. Effective immediately, Mr. Osinachi Mbaoma, Deputy National Chairman (South), and Desmond Tochukwu Egba the National Vice Chairman (South East) have been suspended for unilaterally using the NYA platform to engage with the so-called Coalition (ADC) without the approval or knowledge of the National Working Committee.

“Their actions directly contradict the founding principles and operational procedures of the NYA, which values transparency, internal consultation, and unified decision-making above all else,” it said.

It said that the NYA remains the only credible and uncompromising alternative to the recycled and failed political elites who have continuously held Nigeria back since independence.

“We are committed to championing a new generation of visionary, accountable, and patriotic leadership driven by youth and women across the nation.

“The NWC will not hesitate to act against any attempts to derail our movement or compromise its mission. Further disciplinary measures may be taken as investigations continue,” it said.
